The annual meeting and council re-election conference of the Control Valve Industry Association of Fuyang District, Hangzhou, was held at Fuyang International Trade Center Hotel on January 23. The conference summarized the association’s work in 2017, outlined the work plan for 2018, and elected members of the new council. According to the voting result of the council, Mr. Zhang Yongliang, Chairman of Zhejiang Yongsheng Technology Co., Ltd., was unanimously elected President of the 3rd Council of the industry association.

As the newly elected President of the Council, Zhang Yongliang delivered an address and briefly reported the recent development trends and future plans of the valve industry in Fuyang District. He stated that to revitalize national industry and drive the development of the valve sector, technological innovation must be carried out and product structures adjusted. It is vital to vigorously develop valve products with high technical content, high added value and world-leading performance. There remains ample room for industry consolidation. Downstream industries of valves including petrochemical, pharmaceutical and nuclear power sectors have undergone certain consolidation. The valve industry still features low market concentration, and further consolidation is expected in the future.
