The AFCV80 series axial-flow control valve uses a new flow-path architecture. Compared with conventional globe-style linear control valves, the flow passage and throttling direction are optimized to reduce resistance and increase flow capacity by approximately 20%–50%, maximizing capacity per nominal size. The design is lighter than a comparable globe valve while remaining robust, low-maintenance and high-performance. It is intended for petroleum, natural gas, water and related services, especially large-diameter, high-pressure and high differential-pressure applications.
