The ZSH(DR)V series V-port ball valve is a quarter-turn high-performance control valve used primarily for modulation and also for on/off service. Its integral body avoids leakage associated with body flange joints. A spring-preloaded seat remains in close contact with the ball and automatically compensates for wear, providing reliable sealing and long service life. PTFE soft seats or movable metal seats are available for different media and temperatures. The ball is supported by upper and lower stem bearings made from composite, sintered, wear-resistant and self-lubricating materials to prevent seizure during long-term service. A splined stem-to-ball connection provides good alignment, high torque capacity and reduced mechanical play, minimizing dead band and improving control accuracy. Various low-Cv trims can be supplied for precise micro-flow control. The special V-notch provides strong shearing and self-cleaning action, making the valve especially suitable for media containing fibers or small solid particles and for automated systems in paper, chemical and environmental industries.
